1. Emily, what was bothering you the most about your under eyes before using EyeCorrect+?

For me, it's just that tired look that can creep in, even when you're feeling okay and aren't exhausted — a little bit of greyness, a little bit of hollowness, just looking not quite as alive. I wanted some brightness without heaviness.

2. Why do you think concealer makes under eyes look worse after a certain age?

Concealer makes the under eyes look worse after a certain age simply because your skin changes — it becomes slightly thinner, a little drier, and more delicate. So all the concealers you used to use, the ones that used to be completely perfect, now just sit in fine lines, make your skin look dry under your eyes, and don't give the same kind of brightness. Usually, the answer is better placement and different products.

3. What was your reaction the first time you used it? Did anything surprise you?

The first thing that surprised me after using EyeCorrect+, honestly, was how little I needed. A little bit went a really, really long way, and it just looked so much brighter and really natural — rather than looking like I was wearing really obvious makeup. 💕

4. The pink tint can throw a lot of people off at first. Can you explain why it works?

Try to think of the pink more as a neutraliser rather than a colour corrector. Sometimes people hear "colour corrector" and think it sounds scary — like something a professional should be doing. But if you rebrand it in your own mind as a neutraliser, all it's actually doing is neutralising any greyness, darkness, or shadow you have under your eyes — without looking heavy or cakey.

5. Emily, you've probably tried a lot of different under-eye products. What makes EyeCorrect+ different in your opinion?

I've obviously tried a lot of under-eye products, but I really like EyeCorrect+ because it sits in that sweet spot between makeup and skincare. 💕

6. Dark under eyes can have different causes. Did it work for your specific type?

There are obviously lots of different reasons for having a darker under-eye area, but I back this as a really, really great way to just brighten the whole under-eye area.

7. How do you personally apply it — alone or under concealer?

I apply it two different ways.

On days when I'm not wearing makeup and I just want to look a little brighter, I'll tap it into the inner corners of my eyes, along the side of the bridge of my nose, and all the way out and up. I don't mind putting a bit here and there for some extra brightness as well.

On days when I'm properly wearing makeup, I'll put concealer over it, because I go in with bronzers and things like that — and I feel it makes everything blend in better. I like it both ways, I'm not sure I could choose.

8. Does it hold up throughout the day? And have you noticed a difference over time?

I'm finding that my under-eye area is generally improving. I suppose because I've been using it consistently — and combined with products like hyaluronic acid, caffeine, and niacinamide, using those consistently is going to make a marked difference.

9. As a professional makeup artist, is there anything else you think women should know?
