Best Hypoallergenic Mascara For Sensitive Eyes

This is without doubt the best mascara I’ve used. It doesn’t clump, not one little bit and I’m certain that my lashes are thicker and fuller. They certainly look it when I’ve applied the mascara. And, the bonus is that the tube lasts for ages and still gives good results. Highly recommend.

I love the mascaras, but the ordering process on the European site was not easy to use. Struggled to find the bundles, and did not get the discount on the facemask

Mascara and eyeliner are both dreadful
For this price point I feel completely conned by Rumi’s advertising claims.
Mascara is clumpy, fibrous, smudges, runs-requires a clean brush to remove half of it! Honestly the worst mascara I have ever used.
Eyeliner will not work -so much pressure required to make the pencil work that it snapped off! Absence of adequate colour pigment on grey & brown makes them a waste of effort.

So, I have sensitive eyes, even more so since they has laser surgery in 2007, and many everyday allergies, meaning my eyes are watery throughout the summer and anytime I encounter an allergen that breaks through my prescribed industrial strength antihistamines. So, for years, eye makeup was a rare thing for me, reserved for indoor special occasions. The mascaras I had tried in recent years were full of brittle fibres, which broke when dry, breaking my lashes along with them.
In my youth, I had fabulous natural eyelashes. I could never use mascara on my lower lashes as they were so long that 'enhancing' them looked like a spider was crawling into my eyes!
Now, as an older woman, the hair on my head has thinned badly, any body hair I might have had has long since disappeared (haven't shaved my legs in over a decade, yay!), and my eyelashes are turning white along with my hair. Only my brows have escaped the ravages of time and are still dark and fairly thick.
So, not long after Rumi launched, I was invited to a dressy event and I knew I had to up my appearance game. I took notice of the claims made in the ads that popped up on FB, and decided to try it out. So I placed my order. A few days later, my new mascara arrived. I excitedly tore into the package and retrieved the white plastic tube. Now, the tube being so simple doesn't exactly scream 'luxury product', so i was slightly concerned that i had been sent a pound shop product at an inflated price, but i found a mirror and gave it a try. Pulling the wand from the tube gave me my first surprise. You know the lumpy bits of sticky fibres you always find on the pointy end of mascara wands? Well, the Rumi mascara doesn't have those... Hmmm i thought, is it an empty tube? I lightly brushed the wand along my top lashes, nope, not empty. That eye definitely looks different from the other one. I then brushed those same lashes from the top, rotating as i went to coax the lashes into curling slightly upwards (i am too clumsy for eyelash curlers). Then, a quick shuffle of the brush on the lower lashes, and a little poke of the outside lashes to give them extra flutter, and i sat back to admire my handiwork.
Wow! My two eyes were no longer a pair. The eye with the mascara looked brighter, more open, dare i say younger(?!) than the naked side. No lashes stuck together in clumps, no lumps of fibre making the whole effect look as though a 5yo had done it. I looked as though the lashes from my 20s had made a return. It seems my lashes haven't gone anywhere, they had just lost their pigment, and 2 minutes with a Rumi mascara had woken them up!
I am delighted with this product. I have now been using it, albeit infrequently, for quite a long time, and there will be no other mascara in my life ever. It doesn't turn me into a panda at the end of the day, it doesn't inflame my eyes if I commit the cardinal sin of going to bed without removing my makeup, and, best of all, it doesn't cause my lashes to snap off, so there's nothing left to apply mascara to next time.

I’ve been using this mascara for the past couple of years and it’s my favorite in both summer and winter - it doesn’t run or come off when I want to jump in the water on a hot day and I can go skiing in the winter without it smudging or streaking. Yes, it’s easy to take off at night. I can always look and feel my best with this mascara!

I bought this mascara hoping it wouldn't flake onto my face, but unfortunately it does flake, which is a bit disappointing

I have tried all the rest, be they cheap or very expensive, but I have to return to Volume Car + it can’t be beaten
