Official Sweepstakes Rules

I. Sweepstakes Period

The “Rumi Cosmetiques Monthly Full Body Red Light Panel Giveaway” (the “Sweepstakes”) begins at 12:00:01 a.m. UTC on the first day of each calendar month and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. UTC on the last day of that same calendar month (each a “Promotion Period”).

Each Promotion Period is a separate Sweepstakes. Entries do not carry over into subsequent months. Entrants who wish to participate in a subsequent month must submit a new entry.

The Sponsor’s computer is the official timekeeping device for determining the timing of entries.

II. Sponsor

The Sweepstakes is sponsored by SIA Rumi Cosmetiques, Dzirnavu iela 57A - 4, Riga, LV-1010, Latvia (“Sponsor”).

III. Eligibility

The Sweepstakes is open worldwide to legal residents who are at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence if higher, at the time of entry, except in jurisdictions where participation in the Sweepstakes is prohibited or restricted by applicable law.

Where applicable law requires registration, licensing, bonding, governmental filing, local representation or another legal requirement that has not been satisfied by the Sponsor, residents of that jurisdiction are not eligible to participate.

The Sponsor may also exclude a country or territory where the prize cannot lawfully or reasonably be delivered.

Employees, officers, directors, contractors and representatives of the Sponsor, its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising or promotion agencies, and members of their immediate families or households are not eligible to participate.

The Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted by applicable law.

Entrants are responsible for ensuring that participation is lawful in their jurisdiction of residence.

IV. How to Enter

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

To enter, visit the Rumi Cosmetiques Monthly Full Body Red Light Panel Giveaway page during the applicable Promotion Period and complete and submit the official online entry form.

There is a limit of one (1) entry per person and per email address during each Promotion Period.

Automated, bulk, fraudulent, incomplete or duplicate entries may be disqualified.

Making a purchase from Rumi Cosmetiques does not provide an additional entry and does not improve an entrant’s odds of winning.

V. Prize Details

One (1) eligible winner will receive:

One (1) Full Body Red Light Panel

Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): €999

The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered, except where required by applicable law.

If the advertised prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside the Sponsor’s reasonable control, the Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

The Sponsor will arrange and pay for standard delivery of the prize to the winner at an eligible address. No payment is required from the winner to claim the prize.

Any taxes, duties or other charges arising from the receipt or use of the prize are the responsibility of the winner to the extent required by applicable law, except for standard prize delivery costs paid by the Sponsor.

VI. Odds of Winning

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the applicable Promotion Period.

VII. Winner Selection

One (1) potential winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during each Promotion Period.

The drawing will take place within the first seven (7) business days of the following calendar month.

The random selection may be conducted by the Sponsor or by an independent service provider acting on the Sponsor’s behalf.

The Sponsor’s decision concerning eligibility and winner selection is final, except where prohibited by applicable law.

VIII. Winner Notification

The potential winner will be contacted using the email address submitted with their entry.

The Sponsor will make reasonable attempts to contact the potential winner.

The potential winner must respond within seven (7) days of the initial winner notification and may be required to confirm eligibility, identity and a valid delivery address.

If a potential winner:

cannot be contacted;
fails to respond within the required period;
is found to be ineligible;
declines the prize; or
fails to comply with these Official Sweepstakes Rules,

the potential winner may be disqualified and the Sponsor may select an alternate winner at random from the remaining eligible entries.

IX. Prize Delivery

Following confirmation of eligibility, the Sponsor will arrange shipment of the prize to the winner.

The winner may be required to provide their full name, telephone number and shipping address solely for the purpose of arranging delivery.

The Sponsor is not responsible for delays caused by events outside its reasonable control.

If delivery of the prize is legally prohibited in the winner’s jurisdiction or cannot reasonably be completed, the Sponsor may select an alternate winner from the remaining eligible entries.

X. General Conditions

The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who:

tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process;
uses automated or fraudulent means to enter;
submits false or misleading information;
interferes with the administration or operation of the Sweepstakes; or
otherwise violates these Official Sweepstakes Rules.

If fraud, technical failures, unauthorized intervention, force majeure or another circumstance outside the Sponsor’s reasonable control compromises the integrity or proper administration of the Sweepstakes, the Sponsor may suspend, modify or terminate the affected Promotion Period to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Where reasonably possible, any winner will then be selected from eligible entries received before the relevant disruption occurred.

XI. Release and Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, entrants agree that the Sponsor, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, representatives, agents and service providers will not be liable for losses or damages arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, possession or use of the prize.

Nothing in these Official Sweepstakes Rules excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable consumer protection or other mandatory laws.

Nothing in these Official Sweepstakes Rules affects any mandatory statutory rights available to entrants.

XII. United States Provisions

For entrants located in the United States, no purchase or payment is required to enter or win, and a purchase will not improve the chances of winning.

The Sweepstakes is void in any U.S. state or territory where the Sweepstakes, prize or method of entry is prohibited or where applicable legal requirements have not been satisfied.

The Sponsor may exclude particular states or territories where required by applicable law.

XIII. European Union and EEA Provisions

For entrants residing in the European Union or European Economic Area, these Official Sweepstakes Rules apply subject to any mandatory rights and protections provided under the laws of the entrant’s country of residence.

Nothing in these Official Sweepstakes Rules limits rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable national or European Union consumer protection law.

The Sponsor will award the advertised prize, or a reasonable equivalent where substitution is necessary and legally permitted.

Participation in the Sweepstakes does not require the entrant to purchase Rumi Cosmetiques products or consent to receive marketing communications.

XIV. United Kingdom Provisions

For entrants residing in the United Kingdom, entry to the Sweepstakes is free and no purchase is required.

The method used to select the winner is random and all eligible entries are treated equally.

Where required by applicable UK promotional marketing rules, the Sponsor may make available information demonstrating that a valid prize award has taken place.

This information will ordinarily be limited to information such as the winner’s surname and county or region.

Entrants may object to the publication or availability of this information, or request that the amount of information made available be reduced, by contacting the Sponsor.

Where required, the Sponsor may nevertheless provide winner information directly to a competent regulatory authority.

XV. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal information submitted in connection with the Sweepstakes will be processed for purposes including:

administering the Sweepstakes;
recording and validating entries;
preventing fraudulent or duplicate entries;
selecting and contacting winners;
verifying winner eligibility;
delivering prizes; and
complying with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

The Sponsor will collect only personal information reasonably necessary for these purposes.

For entrants located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, personal information will be processed in accordance with applicable data-protection legislation, including the GDPR and UK GDPR where applicable.

Information collected through the entry form will not automatically be used to subscribe entrants to marketing communications.

Entry into the Sweepstakes does not constitute consent to receive marketing communications from Rumi Cosmetiques.

Personal information will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the administration of the Sweepstakes and compliance with applicable legal obligations.

Entrants may have rights under applicable data-protection law, including rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and data portability.

XVI. Winner List

Information regarding the winner of each Promotion Period may be made available after the applicable drawing where required or permitted by applicable law.

To request available winner information, email hello@rumicosmetiques.com within thirty (30) days after the applicable drawing date.

Please use the subject line: “Rumi Cosmetiques Monthly Full Body Red Light Panel Giveaway – Winner List Request.”

For privacy reasons, the Sponsor will not disclose a winner’s full residential address. Winner information may be limited where required by applicable privacy or data-protection laws.

Where applicable, a winner may object to the publication or disclosure of their personal information or request that the amount of information disclosed be reduced.

The Sponsor may nevertheless provide relevant winner information directly to a competent regulatory authority where legally required.

XVII. Governing Law and Disputes

These Official Sweepstakes Rules and the Sweepstakes are governed by the laws of Latvia, subject always to any mandatory consumer protection rights, promotional laws or other mandatory laws that apply in the entrant’s jurisdiction of residence.

Nothing in this section prevents an entrant from exercising any rights regarding jurisdiction, dispute resolution or access to courts that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

XVIII. Sponsor’s Right to Modify

The Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the Sweepstakes, or any affected Promotion Period, where circumstances outside the Sponsor’s reasonable control materially affect the integrity, fairness or operation of the Sweepstakes.

Any modification will be made only to the extent permitted by applicable law and will not unfairly prejudice entries already validly submitted.
